ABSTRACT 
Grammatically, word classes have a vital role to play in the syntax analysis. The linguists believe that, every language can be classified by its lexical items using its grammatical rules. The noun class in Hausa is a vast category of the lexicon that have many groups in it, for instance, there is a group of compound nouns, proper nouns, collective nouns, common nouns, countable nouns, uncountable nouns, concrete nouns, abstract nouns etc. This Paper titledTSARIN NAHAWU A KAN SUNAYE NA BAXINI A HAUSA” is a review and analysis of abstract nouns in Hausa (Sunaye na Baxini a Hausa), this group of nouns have particular features in phonological process, morphological situation and syntactical analysis as individual words, their features in phrases, as well as their features in sentences.

Abstract Language is a matter of common knowledge and medium of communication through which people express their ideas, emotions feelings and cultural values. This paper is going to discuss the British colonialists’ politics on the language and role they play for chosen of Roman Characters as a medium of writing and communication in the educational system in Northern Nigeria since the inception of colonization, instated to use Hausa or Arabic which are the northern official languages at that time.  However, it discussed the target and policy of colonialists about the issue and also, a verbal interview were conducted about Hausa Language, Literature and Culture on various students from different departments of Al-Qalam University, Katsina which made the paper to analyze and observe the effects of the colonial target on the conte mporary Northerners youth, especially Hausas. full paper

Malaman Zaure da Gudummawarsu a Harshe Hausa

ABSTRACT Malaman zaure are the Hausa traditional Islamic scholars, who usually stay at the entrance hall ( zaure ) of their houses where they gather students and teach them. The profession of Malaman zaure is called Malantaka or Malanta . This Paper titled Malaman Zaure da Gudummawarsu a Harshen Hausa is divided into two parts. The first part consist an introduction and brief explanation about Hausaland, Hausawa and their architectural system. The paper also discussed on the brief history of Islamic education system and the effort of some Islamic scholars in educating Hausa people which led to what produced Malaman zaure. The second part of the paper discusses the teaching methods of Malaman zaure and classification of their students, as well as their contributions to Hausa with respect to consonant and vowel modification, translation and word formation.
